AVAILABLE POSITION

Texas LPC-S: Clinical Assessor and Documentation Oversight

Our Practice

Webwell Group, PLLC is a practice committed to providing high-quality, compassionate mental health and wellness services in Richmond, TX, and virtually throughout the state. We prioritize clinical excellence and operational efficiency.

We are looking for an experienced Texas LPC-S to manage diagnostic intakes (as needed) and clinical documentation oversight for a cohort of LPC Associates. This is a 1099 independent contractor role designed for a seasoned clinician who wants a highly flexible position that leverages their diagnostic expertise, free from most operational demands.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered, you must hold a valid and active Texas LPC-S license. You are required to maintain professional liability insurance with $1M/$3M limits and demonstrate strong digital literacy, specifically with telehealth platforms and Electronic Health Record systems. Your workflow will remain as streamlined as possible, operating primarily within a billing portal to conduct intakes (as needed) and sign off on documentation. This role is intended for focused, secondary oversight, as the associates typically maintain a separate primary supervisor to handle their developmental and board mandated hours. Your expertise will be utilized for conducting initial diagnostic assessments as needed and reviewing treatment plans and progress notes to ensure ongoing clinical integrity and compliance for commercial insurance panels. To meet professional and regulatory standards, you must pass a background check and commit to the ethical and operational requirements of Webwell Group.

Webwell Group, PLLC is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for our clients and contractors. We welcome applications from all qualified therapists.

Important Note: This is a 1099 independent contractor position.

Location

Webwell Group operates a professional physical office suite in Richmond, Texas, but this specific oversight position is designed to be fully remote. You have the complete flexibility to conduct your clinical assessments and manage your documentation reviews from your own workspace anywhere in the state.

Schedule

You maintain total control over your schedule and clinical hours. The documentation oversight portion of this role is asynchronous, allowing you to review and sign progress notes and treatment plans at your convenience, provided they are completed within our standard billing window. The initial diagnostic assessments will simply be coordinated and scheduled during the specific blocks of time you choose to make available on your calendar.

Revenue Sharing

To ensure this relationship is transparent and mutually beneficial, your income is structured as a competitive percentage split based on actual reimbursements from major commercial payers, including BCBS, Cigna, and Aetna. We have an established baseline rate for this position, but depending on your experience and expertise, we are open to collaborating with you to finalize a percentage breakdown that reflects the value you bring to the practice. This model ensures your compensation scales directly with the clinical value you provide and makes the relationship worth your time.

Caseload and Brand Building

Unlike traditional practice roles, there is no strict requirement for you to engage in marketing, networking, or caseload building. However, because growing these specific associate caseloads is our primary focus right now, any professional networking or referral generation you are willing to contribute is highly welcomed and will directly increase your own revenue share. Ultimately, your core operational focus is maintaining the clinical integrity of our insurance pipeline, utilizing the platform to conduct diagnostic intakes as needed and overseeing the ongoing documentation for a cohort of associates.

Administrative and Business Responsibilities:

As an independent professional, you are responsible for maintaining the diagnostic integrity of the cases you oversee. This includes completing diagnostic intake documentation in a timely manner and reviewing associate treatment plans and progress notes to ensure they consistently meet commercial insurance standards. You will utilize a billing portal as your primary interface for assessments and oversight, while maintaining professional communication through our secure, HIPAA compliant internal channels.

Webwell Group, PLLC is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for our clients and contractors. We welcome applications from all qualified Texas LPC supervisors.
